- IEEE Computer Society
- With nearly 100,000 members, the IEEE Computer Society (CS) is the world's
leading organization of computer professionals. Founded in 1946, it is the
largest of the 36 societies of the Institute of Electrical and
Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
- IEEE CS Technical Council on Software Engineering
- The IEEE CS Technical Council on Software
Engineering (TCSE) is the IEEE Computer Society's software engineering information
center, and is the technical sponsor of SESC.
- The Software
Engineering Online Portal
- This new IEEE Computer
Society resource is a source of practical Software Engineering
(SE) knowledge. This is fundamentally different from other web
resources in that it provides expert-selected information. SE
Online is more than a search engine. All the information found
at SE Online is peer-reviewed.
- The Software Engineering Body
of Knowledge (SWEBOK)
- This site is a guide to the SWEBOK, a project of the IEEE Computer
Society. The project is managed by the University of Quebec at
Montreal, and provides a wealth of both current and historical
information on the SWEBOK.
- ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7
- This is the official website of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7, the ISO committee
responsible to develop ISO standards in the area of Software and System
Engineering.
- Software Engineering Institute - Capability Maturity Models
- CMMIsm, Capability Maturity Model (CMMsm) for
Software, and other CMMs are here.
- ASQ Software Division
- This is the official website for the Software Division of the
American Society for Quality (ASQ).
