Q: How do I become a
member of S2ESC?
A: Membership in IEEE is not required. Click on the "Join

Q: How do I participate
in standards development?
A: You can click on the "Working Groups" button to the left, or visit
http://standards.computer.org/s2esc/s2esc_wkgroups/wkgndex.htm,
which provides a list of currently active S2ESC standards
development projects. Contact the Working Group Chair listed for the
area(s) that interest you. |

Q: If I don't find an
existing working group in my specific area of interest, how do I start
up a new working group?
A: Contact any of the Points of Contact listed under
the "Contact S2ESC" link at the left. You'll also need to put
together a brief statement of the purpose and scope of the standard
you'd like to write. |

Q: How do I vote on S2ESC standards?
A: You can click on the "Join S2ESC Ballot Pool"
button on the left, or visit http://standards.computer.org/s2esc/join_ballot/baltndex.htm,
which provides information on how to join IEEE standards balloting pools. Membership in the IEEE Standards Association is required for balloting. |

Q: How do I get a copy of the current
standards collection?
A: Click on the "Order Standards" button on the left.
The current price for the entire collection of 43 standards (now
available on CD-ROM) is $535 for non-IEEE members and $428 for IEEE
members. |
