Subject: Re: IEEE CS SAB Agenda for Los Angeles

Debbie,

I'm afraid I'll have to miss the May SAB meeting.  Here's a curtailed report for me, by item number.

3.1.  I'll let John Walz talk about the IEEE-SA International Award.  I have nothing to add.

4.C  and 4.D  We had a very successful offering of the Standards Speakers Bureau (SSB) in Vancouver back in February.  John Harauz, John Walz, and Joe Decuir each spoke.  There were about 40 or 45 people in each of the sessions.  As of this moment, there are no further SSB sessions scheduled.  It may be time to consider merging the SSB program into the existing DVP program; Ron Waxman and I are doing some very preliminary thinking along this line.

4.E  I have nothing to report.  We haven't yet initiated any joint SAB/EAB activities.

6.2.  I gave a briefing on this topic in Vancouver.  You may delete this item from the agenda unless John has something new to report.

David Schultz
